TNL Group is a member of the Transport Investments Group Ltd (TIL Group.)
TIL itself was originally formed as an investment vehicle by Auckland private equity interests, however by 1993 control had passed to the partners of Hooker Bros (1989) Ltd, who decided to utilise TIL as a holding company for their transport interests.
TIL remains privately held by the partners and is headquartered at New Plymouth.
TIL Group is the parent company for a group of respected New Zealand transport operators, along with other associated and complimentary operations. These are:
HOOKER PACIFIC - HOOKER BROS HOLDINGS - the successors to the Hooker Bros Transport operation founded in Taranaki in 1869. Hooker Pacific is now one of the largest operators in New Zealand, offering extensive services in Transport, Shipping, Customs Brokerage, Household Removals and Storage.
ACTUS TRANSPORT – also had it’s roots in rural Taranaki (Clark & Rogers Carriers, founded in 1910) and now offers specialist stockfeed delivery throughout NZ.
