This week has proved to be challenging with a marked increase in calls tracking freight and assisting TNL Christchurch with phone calls. The team have all been under pressure and have coped well with some trying calls and circumstances. The thing that I always notice with the guys here, is that they never lose their professionalism and the customer always comes first.
E-Cargo/FIN consignments have been huge this week. FIN have commented that the E_Cargo traffic has been "busy before but never like this", Mike Crichton certainly knew the time to be on leave. To all branches that have been bombarded with my constant emails & phone calls tracking E-Cargo - thanks for your patience. Its been a big week and some days I didn't think we were going to keep up but we have.
This week has also seen us co-ordinate stocking of TNL Christchurch with Holcim cement after damage sustained to their Lyttleton premises meant they couldn't dispatch orders ex Lyttelton. Thanks again to everyone involved in setting this up.
